Creta 1.4 TGDI

The ever popular  cross over CRETA from Hyundai also comes with the  1.4-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine — the Creta 1.4 TGDI with the 7-speed DCT ,  also available in the Verna TGDI in India.

This engine delivers 103 kW peak power at 6000 r/min., and 242 Nm maximum torque between 1500 and 3200 r/min.

Spark plugs of Turbo GDI engines are generally couple of steps colder in Heat Range   than the normal spark plugs. 

Hyundai TGDI 1.4 engines uses OE Spark plug code YURA ELR11ISPC8+   which is  equivalent to BRISK QR10YIR-8.   Similar NA engine uses our  QR15 i,e 15 heat range whereas the Turbo engine uses the 10 heat range.
